Our ethos was to create animal and environmentally friendly products that make you look and feel great. We believe in using the most natural, organic ingredients without using any palm oil derivatives. Palm oil contributes greatly to deforestation, habitat degradation, climate change, animal cruelty and indigenous rights abuses in the countries where it is produced. Palm oil exists in most skin and hair care products as derivatives within ingredients and therefore difficult to recognise. Our products also do not contain parabens, PEGs, Phenoxyethanol or SLS.
Our sustainability remit includes using glass and recyclable plastics. We don’t use outer boxes with every purchase as this is unnecessary waste. This extends to our delivery packaging which is minimal boxes with compostable, starch based filler and paper packing tape.

We are clear about the natural ingredients and sustainable processes that go into making our products. Our products are certified by the Soil Association COSMOS organic. Soil Association COSMOS review the entire manufacturing process, including the sourcing of ingredients, formulation procedures, premises and packaging. Queenie organics are certified to international standards so you can rest assured our products meet the strictest criteria of organic standards.

We are registered with The Vegan Society which means the development and manufacturing of our products and ingredients has not involved the use of any animal product, by- product or derivative. It also means that there has been no testing of any sort on animals during the process of manufacturing of the products or it’s ingredients.
We use palm oil free emulsifiers and palm oil free glycerine
Water- based creams contain emulsifiers to bind oil and water together (water is typically the top ingredient in any cream). 99% of emulsifiers suitable for cosmetic use contains palm oil.

To be cruelty free, we believe you need to be palm oil free. Any brand that claims to be cruelty free is not if they use palm oil derivatives
Ingredients are important to me. In order to make a (water based) cream (as opposed to a balm), emulsifiers need to be used to bind the water with oil. I was horrified to discover that nearly all emulsifiers that are used in the cosmetic industry are made in part with palm oil and even so called ‘cruelty free’ brands use such emulsifiers. I did not want my products to be part of the palm oil problem and sought palm oil free emulsifiers- of which there are extremely few. We are one of the few brands that are certified organic, vegan and- palm oil free.
