Arata Leaf is an artisan producer of 100% certified organic loose leaf teas and herbal blends. All of our teas are lovingly packed and blended at our Mourne cottage, County Down.
We only use organically grown tea as it has less of an impact on the environment, better for the farmers and you. You wont find any pesticides and synthetic chemicals in our teas. Our certified organic tea has passed rigorous scrutiny to earn its organic label from the Soil Association. These practices are reflected in the flavor of the tea, and a better nutritional content.
Our aim is to deliver to your door hand packed, organic certified loose leaf teas, wrapped in NO GMO biodegradable and compostable pouches all designed with the minimal impact on the environment. We collaborate only with the suppliers who believe in sustainable sources and therefore do not use chemicals, avoid artificial pesticides, fertilisers and GMO in the production process.

We source our tea from prestigious organic tea estates that use sustainable methods
All our teas are organic, carefully sourced from renowned organic tea estates, quality tested by specialists and packaged in our signature handcrafted biodegradable and compostable pouches. Putting this extra care towards planting, growing and distribution results in the highest quality product with minimised waste and pollution. This helps to enforce sustainability and support long term ecological balance while allowing us to enjoy delightful teas!

Our label designs are based on real watercolour paintings inspired by tea and the wonderful surrounding of the County Down region, Northern Ireland. They are printed on an exclusive range of biodegradable labels compliant with the European Industrial Compostable Standard (EN13432).
Having searched for certified organic teas for a long time and unable to find what we hoped for, we concluded that the best and quickest solution for us would be to source our own.
