Zesty and vibrant – organic whisky marmalade
We’ve given our award winning marmalade a naughty twist by adding a wee dram of Organic Highland Whisky.
It takes a lot longer to make the jam, as we don’t use the thickeners or pectin that you sometimes see in the list of ingredients on jam, to produce it quickly. We use organic sugar as a setting aid.
We only use Soil Association certificated produce in our preserves. Being organic is important to me as I like to be able to read an ingredients label and know exactly what that ingredient is without having to have a degree in chemistry to decipher it.
Delicious on crumpets or toast, with various cheeses or for afternoon tea . Can be used as an ingredient in many dishes from casseroles to steamed sponge pudding. Marmalade ice-cream is heavenly.
Keep refrigerated after opening and use within 4 weeks.
