Prized since ancient times, Inca berries – physalis peruviana – also known as cape gooseberries, golden berries or Peruvian ground cherry, are a delicious super fruit, with high levels of phosphorus, potassium, bioflavoniods and protein, also an excellent source of antioxidants.
Our golden berries are grown and sun dried at high altitudes in the Peruvian Andes.
Soft and chewy with a tangy and powerfully fragrant flavour, they have a unique taste and are best eaten simply as they are, or replacing dried fruits in your usual recipes.
